Stunned

Seeking the knowledge brewed,
Within the mind of a child,
The thought sputter about,
In rapid movements that only catch the birds eye,
Only to distract long enough for the mouse to flee,
In the cactus it hopped,
And the rapid movement ceased when the child,
Locked eyes with someone so elegant,
Beautiful and surreal,
His jaw could no longer stay open
